Where It All Begins

Learn About Jesus

At the heart of everything we believe is Jesus Christ — His life, His love, His death, and His resurrection. We believe He is the Son of God who came to this earth to show us what God is really like and to rescue humanity from sin.

Whether you've never opened a Bible or you've been searching for years, Jesus invites you to come and discover Him personally. Our Bible classes are a safe, welcoming space to ask real questions and explore real answers.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."— Jesus (Matthew 11:28)

Who is Jesus?

God's Son, fully divine and fully human

His Love for You

He died and rose again — for you personally

Our Story

The History of the SDA Faith

A movement born from Scripture, shaped by revival, and sent into all the world.

1840s

The Advent Movement

Christians across many denominations began studying Bible prophecy and expected the return of Christ. This became a global awakening.

1863

Church Organised

The Seventh-day Adventist Church was formally established in Michigan, USA, rooted in the belief that the Bible is God's inspired Word.

Late 1800s

Global Mission Begins

Within decades, Adventists launched hospitals, schools, and mission stations on every continent, driven by the urgency of the Gospel.

Today

22 Million Members

Now one of the fastest-growing Protestant denominations, present in over 200 countries, with a strong presence right here in Ireland.

Beliefs

A Taste of Our Unique Doctrines

Adventists hold 28 fundamental beliefs rooted entirely in Scripture. Here are a few that set us apart — and that we'd love to explore with you.

The Sabbath

God set aside the seventh day — Saturday — as a holy day of rest from the very beginning of creation. It's a weekly celebration of God's creative power and our redemption.

Genesis 2:2–3; Exodus 20:8–11

The Second Coming of Jesus

We believe Jesus is coming back literally, visibly, and soon. This blessed hope shapes how we live, give, and love our neighbours.

John 14:1–3; Acts 1:11

State of the Dead

The Bible teaches that at death, people rest in an unconscious sleep until the resurrection. This gives comfort that our loved ones are peacefully awaiting Christ's return.

Ecclesiastes 9:5; 1 Thessalonians 4:13–16

Wholistic Health

Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. Adventists are known for emphasising a healthy lifestyle — one of our most tangible contributions to the world.

1 Corinthians 6:19–20; 3 John 1:2

The Great Controversy

Scripture reveals a cosmic conflict between good and evil. Understanding this bigger picture transforms how we see suffering, evil, and God's ultimate plan for humanity.

Revelation 12:7–9; Ephesians 6:12

Salvation by Grace

We are saved entirely by the grace of Jesus Christ — not by our works. Our obedience flows from love and gratitude, not from earning favour with God.

Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 3:23–24
